Artist's Description
Situated to the west of the palace, the gardens of Versailles cover over 800 hectares of land, much of which is landscaped in the classic French Garden style. A hectare of land is about 2.47 acres, so that is a lot of garden. This photo shows just a small corner portion. It's just teasing you of what's around the corner.
About Tim Stanley
As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types.
