Recently I attended the “Wings and Wheels” day at the 1940 Air Terminal Museum by Hobby Airport in Houston. Once a month, local pilots fly in their airplanes and a car club will show off their treasures. The museum is housed in Houston’s original art-deco air terminal at William P. Hobby Airport. and showcases both civil aviation and Houston’s aviation history.
The weather grew very overcast with strong winds all day, but it was fun talking photographs of airplanes with the volunteers and watching the large commercial jets come and go all day.
As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types.
