In a crowded city, it can be difficult to find a clear vantage point of the skyline from the street level. Skylines are easier to shoot if you are already up one or two stories, so you are over the trees and power lines. But one Saturday night around downtown, we were "hunting" for something interesting to shoot. I saw this viewpoint close to the new BBVA Compass Stadium.

As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types.
