In 2012, the new Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier opened, 1,130 feet over the Gulf of Mexico. This image was taken out on the jetties down the beach, looking back to the pier.

As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types.
