Artist's Description
“The Douglas A-3 Skywarrior was originally designed as a strategic bomber for the United States Navy and was among the longest serving carrier-based jet aircraft in history. On june 30, June 2011, the last flyable Skywarrior, arrived at NAS Pensacola, Florida for retirement at the National Naval Aviation Museum. It is now on display in front of Hanger Bay One.
About Tim Stanley
As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types.
