Car shows are perhaps the worst place to try and take a decent photo of a beautiful car. But sometimes, it's the only place you can run across such cars, unless you know people in those circles. The crowds and the typical close placement of the parked cars also make it hard. At a recent show in Katy, TX, this Ford Fairlane Victoria was sitting at the end of a row and, after several minutes of waiting, found a small window of opportunity. I think it was worth the wait.

As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types.
