Grew up in Texas and only went to the Galleria once or twice...It is the largest Mall I have ever been inside. A lot of malls today just do not allow cameras...This is a great shot. I came across yours just by looking for Houston art.

Artist's Description

One of the cosmopolitan attractions of a large city is it’s stores and shopping malls. I’m not a big shopper, but I knew when the Houston Galleria opened in 1970, it was something special. It has continued to grow several times since then, with four distinct shopping areas. With over 375 stores, the Galleria is the largest mall in Texas and seventh-largest in the United States.
My problem is once I enter the Apple store, I never see the other 374 stores.

About Tim Stanley

Tim Stanley

As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types. I strive to give my images a sense of realism, but with a slight edge to pull the viewer into the image. All images are Copyright Tim Stanley Photography.
