Artist's Description

Located in the center of Oxford, you can find the Divinity School at the Bodleian Library. Built in 1488 for the teaching of theology, with the elaborately vaulted ceiling and the 455 carved bosses, it is a masterpiece of English Gothic architecture.

Look closely and you can find it occasionally in television shows and movies, including three Harry Potter movies.

About Tim Stanley

Tim Stanley

As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types. I strive to give my images a sense of realism, but with a slight edge to pull the viewer into the image. All images are Copyright Tim Stanley Photography.
