St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fredericksburg, Texas is ne of the Painted Churches of South Texas. Started in 1846 with a handful of German immigrants. The famous twin towers of the two churches, the Marienkirche (1861) and the new St. Mary’s (1908), have long been landmarks in Fredericksburg.
As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types.
