Artist's Description

Liking both autos and airplanes, it’s fun to go to an event that offers both. The cars drive in while the planes fly in and you get to drool over both. I need to be a bit more outgoing and start talking to the pilots though. I’m not as familiar with the airplane models and features, so visiting with the pilots would help me learn more about the planes. At these shows however, it’s common not to find anyone close by, since they are off visiting others too.
Both of these little guys look like they would be fun to fly and I’m guessing have a lot of punch for their size. Many of the planes that attended the Aeros and Autos at Ellington Field are local, so maybe I’ll have an opportunity to visit with the pilots at a future event.

About Tim Stanley

Tim Stanley

As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types. I strive to give my images a sense of realism, but with a slight edge to pull the viewer into the image. All images are Copyright Tim Stanley Photography.
