Front and center on the facade of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in downtown Houston, is the massive Resurrection window. The 40-foot-tall, 20-foot-wide stained-glass window lights up nicely at night, allowing visitors a great view of the beautiful stain glass window. The window is protected by another layer of glass on the exterior which helps keep out the noise of city traffic and the nearby Pierce Elevated freeway. This is a closeup of the top half of the window.

As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types.
