The afternoon I photographed some horses was fun for obvious reasons, but it was also interesting watching them interact with one another. Not knowing much about the "herd", I didn't know the pecking order. But when this horse and donkey saw each other, they slowly walked up and gently bumped heads as if to say hello.

As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types.
