Artist's Description

They say crossing the English Channel can be a bit bumpy, if the weather doesn’t cooperate, which in England, it rarely does. We were able to cross on an exceptionally beautiful morning in late June. The large ferry we took was probably the largest ship I have been on to date and the ride was as smooth as you could have hoped for. The view of the white cliffs of Dover was especially great as the boats left the harbor, starting on the twenty-two mile voyage toward the mainland of Europe.

About Tim Stanley

Tim Stanley

As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types. I strive to give my images a sense of realism, but with a slight edge to pull the viewer into the image. All images are Copyright Tim Stanley Photography.
