Outside the Nimitz Hotel in Fredericksburg, Texas is a life size statue of Admiral Chester W. Nimitz. The Commander in Chief, US Pacific Fleet, and Commander in Chief, Pacific Ocean Areas, commanding Allied air, land, and sea forces during World War II. His grandfather's hotel later became the National Museum of the Pacific War.
As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types.
