One technique when composing a photograph is using framing. It's when you use something in the real world to frame your subject. We've all seen it, someone standing in a doorway or maybe looking out a window. That was what I saw when I set this photo up. I only had a few minutes to run around the field, so things went pretty fast, but I saw this framing and took advantage of it.

As a young boy, I borrowed my parent's Kodak 126 film camera with flash cubes on a field trip to NASA. Needless to say, my pictures did not come out at all like I had hoped. That started me on my photo journey through high school and beyond. I continue to learn as I feed this growing passion for photography of all types.
